Imposter syndrome has been a BIG theme with my clients lately.

I love the way that Adam Grant helps us shift the way we think about our insecurities in this episode of his podcast, WorkLife. He outlines three steps we can take to reframe imposter thoughts not as something that holds us back—but as a tool that can propel us forward.

My biggest takeaway: the difference between self-esteem (your confidence) and security (the stability of your confidence):

"At work, if you're insecure, making one mistake can bring your entire sense of competence and worth crashing down. Being secure means that your confidence isn't easily shattered. You can fail without feeling like a complete failure—which is important because failure is a stepping stone to success in so many jobs."

Definitely worth a listen this weekend! Listen to the full episode here.
