2022 Penney Leadership Holiday Gift Guide
One of the greatest surprises of 2022 for me: Penney Leadership evolved from just me in my little business to a community of talented team members and alumni.

2. Maya Angelou Portrait Quote Print | Taylor Schenker Creative . (Penney Leadership Alumni!) Taylor designs mugs, puzzles, stickers, and more featuring women and LGBTQIA+ community members who have made a difference.
3. Blue Lady Embroidery Kit | TamarNahirYanai . This project kept me company last winter, and I'm ready for my next one.
4. Quarterlife by Satya Doyle Byock . The best non-fiction book that I read in 2022.
5. Camp Boot Suede & Splash Twill w/ Thinsulate | Keds . These are my favorite footwear for this time of year.
6. Headspace Meditation App . I've tried meditation before, but I needed more support. I've been a member for a month and counting, and I love it.
7. Weighted Throw Blanket | Brooklinen . This baby helps me recover after I stretch myself out of my comfort zone.
8. Ergonomic Standing Desk Mat | Fezibo . My favorite desk accessory. I actually use my standing desk because of this mat!
9. Moroccan Handcrafted Recycled Stemless Champagne Flutes | Pottery Barn . Always be ready to celebrate!
10. Password Manager | Keeper Security (affiliate link). Could not live without this handy-dandy tool for setting and remembering secure passwords.
11. Rosa Natural Apron | Hedley & Bennet x Rifle Paper Co. I need this for all the stress-relief-pie baking, pretty please.
12. Ted Lasso Stickers | EdgeofAllie on Etsy . I stand by the fact that watching this TV counts as legit leadership development.
1. WomanCode: Perfect Your Cycle, Amplify Your Fertility, Supercharge Your Sex Drive, and Become a Power Source by Alisa Vitti: This book transformed my understanding of how much of our energy, hormones, and emotional wellbeing is affected by the products we use and consume.
2. Nature's Way Umcka Elderberry Intensive Cold Plus Flu Syrup: I take this as soon as I start to feel a cold coming on and I swear it really does reduce the severity and length of whatever I have!
3. Harney & Sons Chamomile Tea: Such a calming and comforting way to de-stress at the end of the day!
4. 88 Acres Granola Bars: Gluten Free, Nut-Free, and Vegan...yet somehow they're still delicious and come in a variety of flavors!
5. Nuun Sport: Tablets that you add to water for a healthier way to get your electrolytes without all the sugars and food coloring!
6. Vanilla Ice Cream Protein Powder: I add this into not just protein shakes but also baked goods—anytime a recipe calls for vanilla extract!
7. Sleepytime Aromatherapy Shower Steamers with Lavender and Roman Chamomile Essential Oils.
8. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Therapy: THE best I've found to combat dry, chapped lips in the winter, and it's free from all the toxic ingredients found in most other chapsticks!
9. Makeup Remover Face Cloths: A chemical-free way to remove makeup.
10. SheaMoisture Sugar Scrub: Exfoliating Scrub made with Fair Trade and nontoxic simple ingredients, and handcrafted by women in Africa. They're also a mission-driven company reinvesting back in their community so you can feel good on the inside AND the outside!
11. Argan Oil: Lock in that moisture after the shower! I use this oil especially during the dry winter months--it's like liquid gold for your skin, nails, and even your hair!
12. Mindfulness Adult Coloring Book: Whoever said coloring is only for kids? There are lots of different options out there. I recommend the spiral bound ones with perforated pages.
1. UpRiseHer Co-Working Membership (owned by Penney Leadership alumni!). It's mental and physical space to do with what I want. Work, meet, read, sleep, shower, gather. Or do nothing at all. - Shannon

4. Commuter Backpack | Target. I love a backpack for work! This one fits my laptop and it can double as a diaper bag. - Brett
5. Lizzo’s “Special” on Vinyl. Lizzo is an inspiring person with an empowering message who always manages to lift my mood. - Nicole
6. Black Pumas Deluxe Edition on Vinyl. Great vibes, especially the warm nostalgia of their “Fast Car” cover. - Nicole
7. Calendly Scheduling Platform. Easy to use, plugs into the pre-exisiting software you already use, and it makes life easier. - Maddie
8. Planner Pad. It has space for me to keep notes for each of the hats I wear, segments to-dos, and has monthly, weekly views, and daily views. It is my lifeline. - Amy
